last 2 weeks was pretty much rushed past
planned too many events
almost lost full control
but it was fun, amazing and fulfilling
:) :) :)

went to xuan's bday chalet!
wishes to the lovely! kiss kiss
i almost got lost locating the place
aloha changi chalet bungalows
thank goodness for the wonderful shuttle bus uncle who helped and drove me all the way straight to the bungalows main entrance!

grace is really blessed. =)

besides celebrating w the princess of the moment, xuan
i bascially ate, ate, ate, ate and ate!!
was well-fed, well taken care of & well... loved!!
almost got to learn how to play mahjon but skip the thought and went to snooze instead~

ohh yeh. we went to explore changi village too.

told me there was nothing to see cos everyone who went there decided to leave their mark and scribbled all over the walls

well... he made it sound so boring so i decided not to go.. at all - period
i heard the guys who went, one of them got stung by a bee.
bad omen i tell u!!
lucky i didn't follow la!

the journey home was long and tedious. more than 2 hrs if i'm not wrg.
but on the way back, i did a little shopping that yours truly was sooooo deprived from!
i bought a pair of black flip flops
=D

went home and catched up with all the beauty slp i lost
slpt till it was time to head to school for a-team duty
nyaa gold award ceremony duty was kinda fun
chaotic & lots of confusion/miscommunication intially
overall, it was fine.
but it was the people who made duty so fun!
had a blast hanging out with all!
missed them so much
too bad i didn't join them for dinner...
was abit giddy here and there (was kind of feverish then)
nxt time i guess =)

spent the next full day in school com lab
almost went berserk!!
had to complete the MMD project but i was totally stuck on the topics
i didn't know what i wanted to do and i had no plans at all!

anywhoooo~ i did manage to create this gif. file to promote a new product at the end of the day

by tat time, you wun be bothered abt personal selling anymore..

the weekend tat followed was really fulfilling
attended a course at gb hq call: Lead like Jesus
the course really set me thinking. had alot of reflections and questions but most of all, i felt closer to God.

whooooo~ seriously,
so many a times when asked who you role model is, will your answer be Jesus?
it nv accord to me that Jesus is instead THE role model but somehow or another, we dun really relate to him

wad is it really like to lead like Jesus?

unknowingly, almost everyone is a self serving leader
they lead only to gain results or is asked to do so
many a times, they lead thru by the hierarchy authority
only the top can give orders and the people will just do
not only do they edge God out
they are afraid to lose their earthly possessions, position, status, pleasures, etc...

so to lead like Jesus,
one has to be a servant leader
besides just influencing, leading, one also has to serve
to exalt God out
lead them to a common vision
eg:
1 worker is unhappy that he is merely building wall aft wall
another worker is happy building walls bcos it will form a church once it's completed

wad really stuck me was this qn posted to us:
'How can you lead in a way that willl make Jesus smile?'

whoa.
i always tot it was soooooo easy to make people smile
but it nv accord to me that i should do things that will make Jesus smile!
will it be difficult to make Jesus smile?
i told the speaker, Dr Low(gb's VP) how i felt and she said:
"funny how u felt that way. cos in my opinion, i feel it is easier to make God smile den making people smile"

totally makes sense.
I remembered in the course, there's this topic where God is the only audience
so true~
it is so000 much easier to make him smile den trying to please the whole world and getting them to smile..

there's are other topics regarding the heart, head, body and habits
but i shall end here since i dunn really rem the details

a long entry and i stilll hv lots to say!! =)

the beginnging of this wk was soooooo much better.
mon was a mess though
everyone rushed to submit the personal selling report & mmd project
den we rushed the role playing rehearsals
we felt we were there already but 20% is alot lei...
the team (rene, jas, sing leng, cheng ling & myself) was kinda scared we'll screw up the whole play

at the blink of the eye, it was the actual day of presentation
i couldn't sleep the night b4. either i was too excited to play my roles or you know la!~!
weird.
we only needed to present it to the supervisor and not the class. i really wanted to see the other team's plays..

so we were the 5th gp to present.
amble time to practise and even had the time to touch up on our make up at prettyface
lol.
the play was perfect.
a few hiccups here and there
but the efforts were noticed and the comments were positive, great and yub, we were the best!
=) beams

and as mentioned in the last post,
i finally graduated TEP on that day!!
6 mths of in-course attachment
great experience, great friends
it was worth it

to celebrate this joyous occasion
we went retail therapy!! (my fav social event if u hv noticed by now =P)
n also the post bday celebration of the lovely, PON LE QI!!

unexpectedly, i did enjoy the show very much

didn't know they revamp n extended the basement!!
the place is sooooooo beautiful!!
was walking ard and browsing the roxy shop

it was on 50% discount!! so worth it la!! furthermore, mummy approved!!

aunt vivian was in a really good mood on sat. she treated me to swensens for lunch!!
